Destination – Bangkok 5D4N. This time, is a differ trip cos dear’s mum & sis joined us for the shopping spree!

Other than the trip, it's also to celebrate our 3 years anniversary together ahaha, we both got each other a gift.

We check in around 5.30am and had a quick snack at KILLINEY kopitiam since JETSTAR don’t provide b.f.

Finally arrived at the Bangkok airport. We have to split up at Bangkok airport cos we planned to go to the DREAMWORLD Theme Park but his mum & sis were more interested in shopping.

It was our 3rd year anniversary on the first day of the trip so he told his mum to “zhi dong abit” and shop on their own so that we can have our own celebration WAHAHAA quite mean and feel bad to leave them at the airport. But I already arranged bus to pick them up to the hotel before hand.
 
Here we are in our transport to DREAMWORLD, the traffic was quite smooth that morning and it was drizzling. Very nice weather to shop at Chatuchak but too bad it was closed on Thursday.
 
We turn our head and we saw this little message pasted in the car =/ oh well.. in the end we actually tipped the driver 100baht lol.

Some of the pretty and sweet deco down the pathway to the rides section, much like the one we have in Sentosa.
 
 
They have love theme garden with nice chairs, deco and car. We also spotted a new wed couple taking their wedding photo on that day.
 
 
We had our quick lunch before we head for our rides, the lunch here tasted bad and we have to buy coupon first to exchange for our food, so mafan.
 
As we walk further down the park, we spotted the rare WARNER BROS store.
 
But since when did WARNER BROS carry Mashimaro character?
 
 
The rides in DREAMWORLD aren't fantastic, there are only few we find worth trying.
 
Well there is one particular ride which we find most exciting to a point we have to gear ourselves up with raincoat haha.

They have this popular thailand brand inside the park that sells really nice bags and other stuff.

We then walk over for our free lunch buffet which was included in our package and the food didn't taste good at all. I ‘kapo’ a few bananas from them to feed the elephants later hahaha
 
Giant house! I think the idea is from Jack and the bean stalk, makes u feel like a dwarf inside with the gigantic shoes, spoon and chair!

We walk back to the entrance to feed the elephants using the bananas that we kop haha.
 
 
Our hotel! They had arranged a van to send us back to hotel after the Dreamworld trip around 4pm

They do not have very attractive TV channels. Most of the movies are dubbed with thai voice over which turns me off.
 
After unpacked our stuff, we head down to Cabbage and Condom Restaurant for our dinner, located at NANA Station, recommended by forum review. We had some problem finding the place, luckily we managed to ask a couple who can speak good english to lead us the way.

An interesting place I would say if you go with an open mind. The restaurant promotes safe sex and educates the public about AIDS going on in Thailand. Of cos there were some funny stuff around like toy figures made of condom but it was decent place with no disgusting stuff that would spoilt your appetite hahaa In fact, they had a nice deco and atmosphere which gives a cozy feeling! I give 8/10 for atmosphere!

All the lights deco is made with condoms which is surprisingly nice.
 
Food wise, hmm it wasn't that fantastic as others had claim to be haha. Over-rated and definitely not worth the money haha
 
I ordered this prawn with mango sauce which is big and I like the crispy thingy they serve in the dish. (280 baht)
 
Dear order this Honey Whole Chicken which is really whole chicken minus the head and it's really big plate. We couldn't finish it, we end up dabao it back for his mum and sis to eat haha. (300 baht)
 
Oh well ahahah we were given a pair of condom after our bill, but we return it back to them instead hahaha.
 

We head back to hotel to rest after one long day. Dear prepared the bathtub for me but I was too tired to enjoy the soak hahaa After bath, I covered my head with towel as usual cos my hair was wet.

I walked out of the bathroom and saw some flowers line up along the floor. I didn’t have much reaction cos I was tired after a long day and I wasn’t wearing my specs at tt time. I just walked back to bathroom to brush my teeth. After that, I walked out and asked dear how come there are flowers on the floor. Still with the big towel over my head, I walked towards the bed and sat down, drying my wet hair as usual.

 

Dear has been standing there all these while and he asked me to turn around. I saw a big love shape on the bed made of rose petals and surrounded with flowers!

I got a shock, waa since when my dear become so romantic to give me such a surprise for anniversary! WAHAHAAA the next thing I know, he knee down and gave me a rose. He open the rose box with a diamond ring inside and pop the question “ Will you marry me?” I was totally unprepared and shocked, looking so pathetic in my old torn pyjamas and messy hair like ‘xiao zar bo” (damn, should wear smth nicer) He was nervous cos his voice was shaky haha He made some promises to me and I was touched by what he had done, so erm ya.. I nodded hehee .

But the funny part is, he wear it on my wrong finger -____-  then I have to start explaining to him about the 4th finger thingy (so anti-climax la). So, erm ya...guys, we are ENGAGED =) no pic of us cos my clothes too ugly, only pic of flowers and ring for now. We will share details of our ROM and wedding plans after we discussed with our parents, so usual gang, be prepared to get our red bomb WAHAHAA =)
 
I don’t know how much he spent on everything but I know one thing for sure- the happiness to move on to another new chapter with him and mocca – Priceless ....
 
Later at night, we went to this place called DOME At The State Tower for a drink. It a high class, 5 star hotel, the bar is on the 65th floor with an open view of the whole of Bangkok city! The view was awesome! They have a nice bar and we are only allowed to take photo at the bar area. We hugged and enjoyed the night view for the rest of the night. For that moment, I feel so ‘xin fu’ wahahaa
