Happy Happy Anniversary!Posted on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 9:30 pm |
Dear bought me to this small and simple authentic Japanese Raman place call Menya Shinchan Japanese Noodle Restaurant located at Robertson Quay, with their motto: “Raman Is Art!” haha. The noodles there are handmade by the owner and they never stop trying to create new and special Raman, they really treat their Raman like art lol.
Dear order this Jinko Raman if I didn’t get the name wrong, and yea it look huge and its packed with Vege and noodle. Did I mention they actually got a Ladies Cut for this Raman for the same price? If you do order a Ladies Cut, they will like in a way compensate you with a free ice-cream. Another thing is this Raman is very popular among the Japanese that often patronise the shop and I find it quite worth it.
For me is this Delicious Raman that Dear recommended to me, the soup base is seiok and what’s different about this is the noodle and soup is separated to ensure that your noodle won’t get soggy and spoiled the taste. So just take any amount of noodle and dip into the hot soup and enjoy it!
Guess what is this… haha this is not shit ok… this is their unique “Hot Stone” which dear say its very common in Japan. What is it use for? haha watch the video below to find out.
Yup the Hot Stone is for you to reheat your soup if it happen to turn cold, cool right hahah, you need to request this from the staff btw.
